We’re seeing dreamy wedding backdrops everywhere these days, so we thought it high time to create one of our own. And with a bit of crate paper, streamers and string, you can too. It’s easier than it looks—we promise!
We measured a six foot string (butchers twine will do just fine). Then we measured 16 foot strips of crate paper and metallic streamers and knotted them at the top of the string, so 8 feet would fall on each side.
Tie each piece close together and be sure to alternate colors/textures as you go along. You can even fold the crate paper to create waves, or trim the sides to get a cool effect. Once you’ve covered the entire string, you’re done. A voila! Use it as a backdrop for a photo booth, the dessert table or gift table.
