Cwtch of the Week: A Roath Park Cwtch
I met Craig & Lisa in Cardiff in January of this year when they booked me as photographer for their wedding at Bryngarw House on 16th July this summer.
They also booked me for a pre-wedding shoot which we shot in May at Roath Park in Cardiff. I had never been to Roath Park before so I visited a few weeks to get an idea of good places to go and discovered it to be a really lovely Victorian park with a lake, tropical greenhouse, flower gardens, an arboretum and a wild wooded area. Totally spoilt for choice! On the day we made use of every little bit we could, though the greenhouse was closed which was a shame. The late afternoon light was lush, there were flower beds full of tulips in really vibrant colours and the wild wooded area was full of wild garlic so I indulged myself totally with Lisa & Craig’s portraits and got a lovely range of photographs for them.
Lisa & Craig were a joy to photograph, two lovely people who trusted me to get the photographs they wanted.
