Not only is Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee one of my favorite historical homes to visit, it’s also a stunning location for weddings! Abigail Bobo Photography and Jessica Sloane teamed up with an amazing selection of vendors to offer today’s “copper and orchid” wedding inspiration at Carnton Plantation !

Jessica shares her thoughts on the design:

“I usually shy away from anything purple or too pink, but orchid is such a feminine color. And paired with copper, it’s a bit unexpected, yet warm and inviting. It reminds me of a warm day on the patio, breathing in the sweet scent of honeysuckle, surrounded by all the new spring growth. I love hellebores in the spring. Their pinkish/purple edges are so delicate and beautiful. They inspired the romanticism captured in this shoot.”
