Hello Bayside Bride readers – I am so excited to share this Friday morning with you! It’s the most wonderful time of year again! So grab a hot chocolate or coffee and snuggle up to your screen.
Nothing says Winter like a Christmas Tree farm and lots of comfy layers. A couple days ago Krista, Natalie, and I took a little trip with our guys [and Krista’s puppy Goose of course] over to Blue Heron Christmas Tree Farm in Centreville to find the perfect tree. As we pulled up to the farm, it felt like we were walking through a Norman Rockwell painting. Everyone laughing. Carols playing. The vague smell of firewood lingering in the background.

Krista and Davey have cut their tree down at this farm for the past three years and they were excited to bring the rest of us along this year – especially Natalie and Huey. As newlyweds and new homeowners, this was their first tree – and Natalie’s first real Christmas tree!
Before actually cutting the trees down, or at least watching our guys cut the trees down, we stopped for a few quick Christmas photos.
The real challenge of the day was figuring out how to fit a tree on top of Natalie’s mini cooper!
And yes, the trees did make it home!
