Island weddings have a certain laid back charm to them. While it’s hard to think of Solomon’s Island as a true island getaway, it is a charming waterfront village with casual and beautiful locations for a wedding, especially this one shot by the talented Megan Noonan ! This couple loved this location for more than it’s looks though, it held a special place in the groom’s heart!
“Sasha and Bud decided to get married at their neighborhood beach in Solomon Island called Drum Point. For the ceremony location, Sasha decided to get married in a little nook in the woods, lined with pine cones and wine bottles on sticks that she did herself, along with friends and family. The had an amazing live band play that had the whole party dancing all night long. For their first look images, we decided to go to the Marine Museum, which is where the groom spent many days of his childhood. Growing up on the Eastern Shore, he has a special love of boats and the mariner lifestyle.”
