Outdoor DIY Wedding
Crimson and Clover did such a wonderful job shooting this amazingly sweet wedding! The DIY outdoor wedding took place at the non-profit Mount Pisgah Arboretum venue nestled in a nature park along the Willamette River. The venue is super affordable for anyone planning a wedding on a budget, like Nick and Katie, and the venue fees go toward their nature education program for elementary school kids! How awesome is that?
The DIY details of the wedding were inspired by Pinterest, and put together by Nick and Katie’s relatives, which made the wedding much more personal.
Katie tells us, “We had SO much help from family and friends, which allowed us to keep a low budget. One cousin was our DJ, another cousin did the flowers, and another was our officiant. Nick’s parents made our cupcake pedestals, mason jar wine glasses, and directionals. My mom made my garter and our cake topper. My aunts and uncles helped with the setup, and all of our friends and family chipped in with take-down.”
I am completely in love with this DIY wedding and all the meaning behind every single little detail that was a joined effort from both sides of the family!
