Bed and Breakfast Sunflower Wedding
I have always loved sunflowers, so when Lindsay of Letters and Light Design and Photo sent this stunning Georgia wedding my way, I could not resist sharing it! Anna and Fred are such a cute couple who are fun yet so stylish. Anna’s lace gown with a key-hole backing is stunning while Fred and his groomsmen look classy and hip in their black and white tuxedos and matching converse shoes. Their fun style continues into the reception with a colorful wedding cake covered in sprinkles!
Their wedding day fun was mixed with so many beautiful and tender moments as well. It is obvious that these two have a special bond. Enjoy their love story told by Anna herself at the end of this feature!
From Bride, Anna…
“Fred and I met at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes event. He was with the football chaplain and I was representing the cheerleading team. Before that day, we had known of each other but never had the privilege to meet. Fred decided to finally introduce himself and worked up the courage to walk my way to offer a sweet hello. I was smitten, because it seemed as though he was peering into my heart! From that first introduction, I knew he was someone extraordinarily special.
After that day we ‘ran’ into each other on campus and said hello in passing. Eventually, he asked me to coffee. We talked about the last several years of our lives and how the Lord had been teaching us both about how to be satisfied in Him. Neither of us were looking for a human form of love and were both content with just growing closer to Christ. As we spent more time together, we recognized Christ’s love in each other and Fred began to pursue me with an upright heart. He sought the Lord in every decision and fell in love with whom the Lord had made me to be. He sought the Lord for permission to date and eventually marry me!”
