Since visiting Maine for the first time last summer, I have constantly been looking for an excuse to go back. The way of life is just simpler there, in all the best ways. Such an emphasis is put on natural living and appreciating the beautiful, rustic, coastal surroundings. It is the most lovely and adorable example of a New England town. Lobster pots and sailboats line the harbors. Moss grows on all surfaces. Early morning fog rolls away to fresh air and bright sunshine. Bar Harbor is a picturesque town set amongst the wild and uncultivated backdrop of Acadian forest. Visitors leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated – the perfect way to start a newly joined life together!
