… and a fabulous bridal fashion find – Madame Mathilde .
New York designer Jennifer Kelling graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2007 with a penchant for design and a passion for vintage costume jewelry. She combined both loves in Spring 2009, with her first all-custom accessory collection, showcasing the rejuvenation of some of her favorite antique store, fair and flea market finds. The results couldn’t be better.
Each piece of Madame Mathilde jewelry is hand-made in New York City using a combination of unique materials, including vintage rhinestone brooches, antique chandelier crystals, mixed chains and vintage scarves. Madame Mathilde also offers clutches that are hand made from genuine snakeskin and adorned with a vintage brooch for extra flare…
The pieces are perfect bridal heirlooms as well as posh bridesmaid gifts. The collection ranges from $195 – $450, and can be purchased on the Madame Mathilde Web site .
