While the October market gowns were GORG, they’re not going to be ready right away… and we really strive for content that’s “Crave now, buy now” on Merci. We didn’t want to tempt you with too much unattainable eye candy too soon, but we also got a few emails from readers who saw our market tweets from the runway and wanted to see all the pretty asap. Junko Yoshioka’s Fall 2012 collection mastered the perfect mix of modern grace and timeless beauty {think dimensional laser cut silks, antiqued ombre matelasses and embroidered laces}. Divine!
Ines Di Santo’s glamorous S/S12 line was inspired by her dream designs for recent celebrity brides-to-be… in a collection aptly named “Star Quality.”
Claire Pettibone imagined gowns inspired by the French Countryside, with her Spring 2012 collection, Beau Monde.
Anne Barge’s Spring 2012 collection was regal and romantic. A cap sleeve gown made of gold Alecon lace over silk charmeuse stole our fashion-loving hearts.
