Coney Island is hands-down one of our favorite spots for New York City engagement sessions… The charm of the nation’s oldest amusement park provides the perfect backdrop for good ol’ fashion fun {and a little bit of kitsch, to boot}.
While summer may be over, we couldn’t help but share Melanie and Jesse’s engagement shoot. Photographed by our friends Whitney and Dustin at Oh Darling Photography , Melanie and Jesse did a great job of hamming it up for the camera despite the amount of onlookers… and the results were fantastic!
The amusements may have closed shop for the fall, but what many couples don’t know is that Coney Island’s boardwalk and beach remain open. The shop facades, kitschy museum and gray sky beaches would be beautiful for winter e-shoots… Coney Island is truly an all-season stop for great photos. To learn more, click here .
