Riverside Wedding | Britt Croft Photography

Married beneath a big willow tree, strands of oragami birds rustling in the wind… Today’s wedding by Britt Croft Photography is absolutely spectacular!

“Jessi and Kyle’s day was one of the most special wedding days I’ve ever been a part of. These two are the definition of soul mates…they were truly made just for one another and their day reflected everything so personal to them. With all of their closest friends and family there to celebrate, Jessi and Kyle wed under a beautiful tree at her childhood home.”

Photographer’s Words, Continued: “Oragami birds hung from the limbs creating a soft but unique backdrop. They read vows they wrote themselves, and even kissed before they were supposed to! These two were just so excited! Then it was off to party as Mr. and Mrs. Their gorgeous reception was in the backyard of the home overlooking the Patuxent River in Calvert County. Details were galore! “Greene” cupcakes, vintage birdcage centerpieces with each table named after a special something in their lives, crab knocker favors, and even old breakup letters (these two first dated in middle school!) were hung on the fence around the pool. One of the most special parts of the day? The lantern release over the Patuxent once the sun went down. There was just so much magical about Jessi and Kyle’s day…what’s not to love?”

Wedding Inspiration Board in Ocean Hues

HAPPY FRIDAY! Don't you love when we get to Friday? I know I do! I hope you all have great plans (or no plans, if that's what you prefer!) for the next couple of days. It's supposed to get pretty chilly around here, so I plan on snuggling up inside, getting some work done and maybe doing a little more painting in the nursery.

Maybe I was thinking about our baby's nursery when I created today's inspiration board (hint, hint! ;) - a cool mix of ocean blue, green and gray hues. I'm kind of dying over the first photo of the periwinkle petticoat. It's also an amazing color palette for a wedding, if you ask me! I imagine it being great for transitioning from winter to spring...maybe a March or early April wedding?

Lovely Moment With Romantic Wedding Songs

I heard a story before from one of my friends. A girl was getting married with her beloved one. “Yellow”  is a song that she and her boyfriend loved very much. When she was walking down the aisle and just enter the door of the church the groom just start to sing “Yellow”. The best man helped to play the piano. Right that moment, she was burst into tears. She could not help to cry because she knew how deeply her husband-to-be loved her. I guess at that moment in the church everyone presented was deeply moved by the new couple. Music is another language of human emotions. Right music just like right language to say what is in your heart and the people who is listening will also understand you very well.

Lovely Moment With Romantic Wedding Songs

If you have lots of close girl friends and they will all show up on the wedding ceremony. Actually you can have them sing a song for you on the wedding. Church weddings are very noble and if there is a right song sung by the right people that would be wonderful. Your close friends know you a lot. They keep you company when you are down give you shoulders when you want to cry, give you comforts when you are upset and cheers for you when you are on the top of the world. So with them sing a wedding song for you on the wedding would be a great bless for your happy marriage and lifelong friendship.

Lovely Moment With Romantic Wedding Songs

Kids are cute angels on the wedding. They are lovely and cute. And their voice is also cute. If a kid is brave enough and she or he will song for you isn’t it great?Just pick up an easy song for the kid. Keep in mind that make the song short. If there is only one kid, the kid will feel lonely. You might can get more kids together. Your family members or friends might have kids ask for help. Where there is kids there is happiness. On the wedding there also will be flowers girls. Don’t worry. They will play together and have fun. Prepare some nice and delicious cakes, candies and toys. I believe they will love that kind of stuff.

Really love their smiles. How cute they are.

After talking so much of singing the wedding songs. Let’s talk about the songs. Wedding songs should be happy and with no sorrow. There are church music for weddings so if your wedding will be held in church then ask the choir to sing for you. If you have a loved song you can ask a band to sing for you. Best thing is you or your husband can write songs. That would be most special. The song is just for you.

Snowing and Wedding Invitations

Snow is a good news to the people who are getting married. Snow will make the wedding romantic and dreamy. White all over the world is so beautiful. Better to have an indoor wedding or church wedding. Even the snow scenery is breathtaking you also have to think about the comfortable of the guests. You may stay outside for a long time and when it is snow the temperature is low. Don’t catch a cold. After the wedding ceremony you can enjoy yourself in the snow and take some beautiful photos.

Wear a warm jacket when you go out in the snow.Better not stay for a long time. Hairstyle should be simple thus you won’t look a mess if you let your hair down. Short hair will save you lots of labor. Just get the hair neat is OK. Color of the jacket better to be white like this one. White is the pure love and the color of angel. To show you are part of the nature just wear something white. I think you and your husband-to-be would love this.

Snowing and Wedding Invitations

This wedding is held near a lake.At that time water in the lake are frozen and the ice is covered with thick snow. On the bank of the lake are woods of pine trees. The pine trees are white and green and grey.Just invite some of your close family members and close friends is enough. They will be with you together in the snow to share the exciting moment in your life. And make your big day more special.

Snowing and Wedding Invitations

I know this need a lot of courage. But if you are brave enough you will thank you in the future. When it is snow outside at night you and your beloved one dance in the snow and hold a pink umbrella will be very romantic. Of course if you really feel chilling just wear more. Prepare the light to the best. Or you can choose to hold a wedding bouquet. This is art but this is also what you can learn from.

Snowing and Wedding Invitations

Are you crazy for this one? You don’t have to wear white wedding dress. Black and other colors can also be taken into consideration. Enjoy your big day on the top of the snow mountain is an exciting idea. I believe most of young people will love this idea. They are always ready to try something new.

Your Special Rustic Wedding

With the pace of city life people sometimes are tired of being in cities and they might want to go back to villages and enjoy the naturally life. For you wedding if you are tired of wedding in city why not have a rustic wedding? This could be a time for both of you and your guests to relax from the high pressure.

Here are some ideas for your reference. This wedding is on a mountain. There are wood and small cute log cabins. Fruits trees are planted around these cabins.Air in this place might be moist. To avoid getting dirt on your bridal gown you can wear a pair of boots. Things will be more interesting if you and your bridesmaid all wear boots. How lovely it is. In this place having an outdoor barbecue buffet is the best thing I can imagine. If there is a pasture nearby things will be perfect. Fresh meat serving on the buffet. How exciting.

Your Special Rustic Wedding

Wood gives people a feeling of rustic. Like this one. This is also a representative of rustic style. This is from a church in rural area. Love the colorful and dreamy glasses on the window. Sunshine comes into the church through the half opening door. And the sunshine just poor on the new deeply loved new couple. Like the bless from God be with them. This is an exciting moment in your life.

Your Special Rustic Wedding

Really love this one. Strawberries, grapes and nuts are all from local. The wedding can be on a farm. On the ground is the straws. Natural and rustic to the most. Hire a nice chief to help you make such delicious food for your guests. I believe they will love this very much.

Annapolis Engagement Session | Erin Wheeler Photography

This session is too cute for words! An adorable dachshund puppy, bright balloons, and a popcorn fight… We’re swept away by Allison and Andrew’s Engagement Session in downtown Annapolis and the beautiful images captured by Erin Wheeler Photography ! We’ll let Erin take it from here:

“Allison & Andrew will be getting married October 2013. They are planning a vintage carnival themed wedding so they wanted to incorporate some of those details into their engagement sessions. They brought along colorful balloons, old fashion coke bottles, yummy popcorn, carnival save the date signs and their new adorable puppy Molly (who attracted alot of attention that day!). We wandered around Downtown Annapolis that was the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. They ended the night on Main Street with a good old popcorn fight.”
