Elegant and Refined Garden Wedding

Today's featured wedding is elegance at its finest. The expansive gardens, chandeliers, candles, white florals, and green, leafy garlands all add up to one beautiful wedding. Not only that, but photographer Genevieve Stewart did an amazing job of capturing the essence of the day.

"Adriana and Sam's wedding day was supposed to be a windy monsoon," shared Genevieve. "In the days leading up to Saturday, everyone prepared for the worst. Plan B was in full effect, with Adriana's coordinator, Kerri Catino-Nason, pulling strings to make tent, flooring, and decor adjustments. Boots and umbrellas were purchased, and we were all prepared to make the best of it and celebrate in the face of a lovely Outer Bank's storm."

Luckily enough, the big storm never arrived! Adriana and Sam's stunning wedding went off without a hitch, and they were even able to move the ceremony outside in the beautiful gardens where it was originally planned to be held.

Picks on Paper - Attire for Groom and Groomsmen

Well, I had a pretty good morning...and you will soon see why! Today's Picks on Paper is all about cool ensembles for the men in your life - the groom and his groomsmen - and I got to search for pictures of hunky guys allll morning (and part of last night!). Good times.

I might be in the minority here (I know that the whole "bad boy" - Johnny Depp thing is quite appealing to many), but I've always had a serious weak spot for a clean cut, well dressed man (like my hubby! ;) While the bride is often the center of attention on the wedding day, I also think that the men in your bridal party are extremely important because they really set the tone for the event. For instance, when we're trying to communicate how formal a wedding event is, we often describe it based on the men's attire - Black tie, white tie, etc.

Should your man decide to do it up right in a classic black tuxedo, or keep it super casual in a vest, no tie and rolled up sleeves, it's important that his style reflect the overall feeling of the day (or vice versa). Other than that though, there are no rules. I once saw a bridal party of groomsmen all wearing red flannel shirts! It may sound atrocious, but it was actually super cute because it matched the rest of the wedding day rather perfectly. Just make sure that your guy feels comfortable in whatever he wears, and remember that it is HIS day too!

With that being said, I've pulled together my top five favorite looks for the groom and his groomsmen. It was tough, I know, but somebody's gotta do it! ;)
