The Love Parade is one of the most iconic events in the history of dance music, with its most memorable street parties taking place in the newly reunified Berlin throughout the ‘90s. At its peak, the event saw over a million partygoers flooding the long stretch of the Unter Den Linden boulevard to rave under the grand columns of the Brandenburg Gate . It’s a time that will never come again, but we’ve been offered the chance to experience it from close up.
While earlier this year the iconic Berlin club Tresor released its own video capturing the party , a documentary has just surfaced on the net that captures the 1992 event from a more intimate angle. It details the adventures of the “Frankfurt Posse,” who hopped on a train from West Germany and traveled east to join the celebrations.
