Y'all, this e-sesh from Brooke Images is really good. These two are at ease together, enjoying the breezy scenery and doing what they do. Ryan's proposal plan is swoon worthy, too: an homage to where they met, a nod to Jackie's dream wedding venue and, of course, their fishing passion. All good stuff here.
From Jackie: We both grew up fishing a lot with our dads. I grew up in South Florida and went fishing in the Keys all the time and Ryan would always take the boat out fishing with his family. So when we met it just became something that we loved to do together; we would fish on his parent’s boat, in the lake by his apartment or on Davis Island.
Our first year dating I went on a long cruise with my family and when I was gone he built me a fishing rod (which is the one I’m using in the pictures). He made it black and yellow, for my favorite football team, the Steelers, and even put a little Steeler’s logo on it and topped it off with a Penn reel! It was so sweet how much thought he put into it. I know most girls would probably rather jewelry, but for me this was the best gift ever!
“Last year we bought a little townhouse on Davis Island and it is where we spend most of our free time; either at the dog beach, riding our bikes, rollerblading, fishing, or just enjoying the scenery. It just seemed like the perfect, and only, place to do our engagement photos!

You'll love her take on his proposal: I’ve always dreamt of getting married at the Vinoy in St.Pete because of their beautiful Chihuly chandelier. He took me to lunch on Beach Drive and to the Chihuly museum. After he took me out on his parent’s boat. We were offshore, riding along St. Pete Beach and I was laying out. I felt the boat stop and as I turned around, he was down on one knee in front of me! Later we had a wonderful night out with our friends at the bar where we first met. The next day he surprised me with my family who had flown in for the occasion! It was an amazing weekend filled with so much love!
